The Mister enjoys baseball. I know little about it. Sports were never a large interest of my family. I remember attending a Cardinals game when I was young. We had super awesome seats. I don’t remember the seats but I remember my dad trying to explain their niceness. I’m sure I received this explanation as we had the tickets due to my mother’s then employer – Anheuser Busch. Additionally, I’m sure they never considered I would get caught in the energy and begin to scream “Catch him! You gotta catch him!” thinking it was an organized game of tag.

Last night was another episode of Million Dollar Decorators but I didn’t see it. I “watched” the All Stars game. The Mister was very serious about watching it. He would randomly explain stuff to me and would check on his fantasy players. I cannot tell you who his players are except for Pujols. I only know that name because of this.

That’s right, I have a bobble head sitting in my living room. No, I’m not thrilled about it. Last week, I attended a Cardinals game with some co-workers while entertaining a client. I went to the Pro Shop because that’s what I do and one of the people I was with needed to buy some gifts. The Mister declined my offer to purchase him anything and I was happy about it. I was sure I didn’t see anything he could possibly want besides some clothes. However, I was sucked in by the amount of stuff the Pro Shop sold. Then, I saw this.

I took a photo (the one above) and sent it to The Mister with “Sure you don’t want this?” It was a joke. However, he responded “If it is under $25.00.” This caused me to think “riiiiiiight” but after a few minutes I started to worry. I called and he was serious. The boy wanted a toy figure of some man with a name I pronouced “Poo Joe.” (Sidenote: The Mister laughed hysterically when I said that and I didn’t know why he was laughing. ) He prefered the bobble head and I’m a nice wife. Therefore, it now exists and I’m going to try to find it somewhere else to live than the main room of our house. I’ve learned my lesson. Any suggestions of where it should be relocated?
