I recently received a catalog for a company named “At West End.” Each piece at At West End is handmade and uses recyclable material when possible. A lot of their things are very rustic, but here is a sampling of items from their website that I deemed the best.

Last Wednesday, I shared a link that I saw from Emily Henderson. She shared it for some gold, self-adhesive and repositional paper.

I said I would look around and look I did. I looked here.

It’s self-adhesive (like the gold) and comes in red, brown, green and blue.
I could use it as a cheap and quick backsplash until we do the marble tile.

Of course, they have marble.

They even have a tile pattern.

Blech.

They also have granite.

Double blech.

I’d rather go pattern over faux. Let’s look at another pattern to erase the blech.

That’s more like it.

Currently, everything is 20% off. It appears that not everything is ready yet as some items are listed as “Coming Soon.” Additionally, some of the pieces shown are not on their site. Many of the pieces shown below are not available…

…but I look forward to them. So far, it looks like a great line.

If you’re ever wondering what you should buy me, because you’re a nice person and I like gifts, I have some ideas below. You should buy yourself one too. We’ll be twinsies.

First, the shirt I would have worn at frat parties in college.

If y’all only knew how much I dance around my house.
It’s not uncommon for me to yell “DANCE!” to a forceful degree and do my signature wiggle “move.” It’s an upgrade from my car dance. What’s important here is that I’m having a good time and dancing it out is good for the world.

Duh. I found everything good in life on Pinterest.

As you may know, I adore Natalie Dee. (see Suit Up, Whore Wash, and Introducing: The Colonel Hoof-Hearted to name a few posts) While perusing her site I saw that her husband, Drew, made a photocomic miniseries in 2009. I wasn’t suprised, those people seem creatively busy. So, of course, I checked it out and I found Francetucky. I’m a fan as it combines snark with file images. As someone who is subjected to many file images and has spent some time searching through stock photography, I greatly appreciate Drew’s stories and narration. This is my favorite:

With tomorrow being Thanksgiving, everyone will be traveling here and there dealing with dry turkey, overbearing family members and exhaustion. You derseve a trip to Francetucky.

As you may remember from my last Website Wednesday, I purchased quite a few items from Old Navy.  I disliked my Old Navy clothing. I only kept the necklace and the $5.00 white t-shirt. I had to think about both but decided to keep them due to how cheap they were. I’m beginning to feel that is their business model. You buy it because it looks promising. Then, you realize that is poorly cut and made but you paid less than $10.00 for it. Is “That’ll do.” Old Navy’s motto?

I will continue to say “What tha?” when I hear about / see people on Facebook rushing to Old Navy for sales. How is it that Target clothing is better quality? Do you purchase Old Navy clothing? What am I missing?
