West Elm just finished a 15% off sale on their upholstery. Originally, I had my eye on the Victor Armchair. It has great lines but the plain fabric leaves something to be desired. So, I was crazy for the flower print by Sarah Campbell.
Baby got back.
The Mister and I went to West Elm as I wanted to see this chair in person and purchase throws for our current chairs. I was disappointed that they don’t carry this chair because it’s considered a custom piece. Therefore, it cannot be returned. Even more upsetting, they don’t have fabric samples. So, it’s a gamble and one that we didn’t take. It’s so beautiful and I love the shades of green. Maybe one day they’ll have a pillow. I doubt it, but I’m bummed out that I didn’t even get to
molest it touch the fabric.
We did end up buying some chairs. We bought two leather Sedgwick Chairs.
Y’all, they’re seriously comfortable.
The Mister has wanted a recliner for a long time. He had one long ago but it was massive and The Colonel liked to “make out” with it. This means that he licked it. I called it “The Potato” and once we moved into our house we gave it to his brother. It fit in our apartment, but it took up a huge amount of our living room in the house. The 1950s were not prepared for The Potato. I’ll have to find a photo for y’all and I must show you what the new chairs look like when the second one comes in.
