I love our dog, The Colonel Hoof Hearted, and I have a few garden flags. I purchased the flag “pole” that presses into the ground at the flea market and completed this purchase with three flags. I do not rotate the flags – I keep with my initial flag. This is due to laziness and a concern of looking like a nerd. However, I gave The Pug Flag Collection a few looks.
I was cutting coupons this weekend and saw the ad touting four flags, each with a jolly pug appropriately celebrating the quarterly season. Jeremy found the same ad and made sure I saw it. We both were surprised by the price, each flag is $24.95 plus $3.95 for shipping and handling. I decided I needed to know more – pictures of pugs wearing hats makes me laugh and found them on the Willabee & Ward website. Turns out there are twelve flags that allow you to, “Celebrate every month of the year with lovable Pugs!” I would never spend $346.80 on pug paraphernalia. I do not care how cute the twelve flags are. (By the way, I could never find a photo of all twelve.) Yet, this begs the question of what do you think of pet decor? I will have a follow up post next week and would appreciate your feedback.
